About the Role
About the role
You will be a class teacher for one section of 30 children in Class 1 to 5. You will teach English and Maths, and you will look after the class routine.
The school follows CBSE. Lesson plans are shared, but you adapt them for your class. Parent meetings happen once a month.
Support
Every new teacher gets two weeks of orientation and a senior teacher as a buddy for the first term.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach English and Maths to one section of about 30 children
- Prepare weekly lesson plans and simple classroom activities
- Check notebooks and give written feedback twice a week
- Track each child's progress and flag anyone who is falling behind
- Meet parents once a month and share honest, kind feedback
- Help run the annual day and sports day
Requirements
- One to five years of primary school teaching
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed
- Clear spoken English
- Patient with young children and firm about class rules
