About the Role
About the role
You will own organic search for five e-commerce websites. That means keyword research, on-page fixes, technical audits, and a link building plan.
You will work with two content writers and one developer. You brief them, you check the work, and you report the traffic numbers each month.
Fully remote
Work from anywhere in India. One weekly call on Tuesday. Everything else is async in Slack and Notion.
Key Responsibilities
- Run a full technical SEO audit on each site every quarter
- Do keyword research and build the content plan for the writers
- Fix on-page issues, including titles, meta tags, schema and internal links
- Improve Core Web Vitals with the developer
- Build a clean backlink plan and reject spam links
- Report organic traffic, rankings and revenue every month
Requirements
- Two to five years of hands-on SEO, ideally e-commerce
- You have moved a real site up in rankings and you can show the data
- Strong with Google Search Console, Ahrefs or Semrush, and Screaming Frog
- You understand schema markup and page speed basics
- You write clear briefs that a writer can follow
